Topsail Fun

There's lots to do on Topsail Island and in Suft City! Here are some ideas to get you started...

Beach Stuff

Beach!

It goes without saying, of course, but after all, this IS a beach vacation! Enjoy lounging in one of our provided beach chairs, a leisurely walk to the iconic Surf City Ocean Pier for an ice cream cone, hunting for unique shells or shark teeth, playing in the ocean, boogie boarding the waves, or just getting your toes wet.

The Surf Pool

Pool Time!

Take advantage of the zero entry pool (no steps, gradual gentle decline) or relax in one of the many lounge and beach chairs. Four cabanas offer ample seating as well as shade opportunities for your comfort. The pool is open to guests from April 1 (or whenever it passes inspection) through October 31.

Surf City

Surf City Food

Fresh local seafood

If preparing fresh seafood yourself is more your style then you'll definitely want to visit:

Serenity Point

Serenity Point

Explore the south end of the island and walk around Serenity Point, where ocean meets Intracoastal Waterway (ICW). Be sure to go a couple of hours before low tide if you plan to walk all the way around the point and back so you don't get blocked by high water. Perhaps you will find some unique large conch shells, or just enjoy the contrast of the quiet ICW compared to the adjacent ocean breakers. Note that there is limited paid parking.

Topsail Beach

Topsail Beach

If you're heading south, make a day out of it! After walking around Serenity Point you'll have worked up an appetite. There are several eating options in Topsail Beach, including Beach Shop and Grill and Cora's Isle - End Deli. On Thursdays from 9 - 2pm enjoy the local vendors at the Topsail Craft Market Be sure to stop in to the Missles and More Museum to learn all about Topsail Island history, from Pirates to Operation Bumblebee. Follow up with ice cream from Scoops Microcreamery . Finish out the evening at Topsail Beach Skating Rink, 714 S Anderson Blvd, and enjoy an old-fashioned skating rink complete with wood floors and 45 RPM's.

Soundside Park

Soundside Park

Soundside Park is another lovely place to enjoy. Combine that with a walk across the famous Surf City Bridge and enjoy the views offered by both! There is a pirate ship playground, lengthy boardwalk, picnic shelters and an amphitheater which offers seasonal concerts and summertime movies in the park.
